What do you think about perineal massage in 3rd tri?

I am coming up on the 3rd tri. I have a nurse who recommended perineal massaging which can be done at home and you can have husband help you do it. I'm wondering if I'll be the only pregnant lady venturing on this in hopes for an easier labor? Hahaha 
 Anyone else try?

I had my husband do it to me every night for a few months before baby's due date. It helped me! And my husband enjoyed it too hahahah😂

My husband brought this up the other night. Apparently he was researching it and thinks it would be a good idea to try out 🤣🤣🤣
