Disney in early pregnancy?

Hey ladies! We booked 5 days in Disney months ago and just found out I'm pregnant (yay!!) yesterday. We leave in a week and a half, and it's too late to cancel. This is my first pregnancy and I am about 4 weeks along. The nurse at my OBGYN said I shouldn't go on ANY rides but that seems a little extreme to me. Has anyone been to Disney during early pregnancy? I feel like kids ride like It's a Small World would be fine but she told me no. Thoughts?

You absolutely can go on their rides if there are no height requirements. If a toddler can go on it, that means there are no forceful movements. Disney is different from most theme parks in that most rides are young child friendly. Just stay hydrated. Have fun and say hi to Mickey for me!

I wouldn’t risk it. I’m sure it’s happened, especially women who don’t know their pregnant. But better to be safe then sorry

Rides like small world, the tea cups, pirates of the Caribbean, haunted mansion, buzz light year, Aladdin's magic carpet ride, and dumbo should all be mine. Stay hydrated, wear comfy shoes, and have fun!

There are rides you can go on. Just wear thee most comfortable shoes possible and drink a LOT of water. It is a great deal of walking.

I took my son while pregnant with my daughter. Most rides tell you if you should ride or not. I couldn't ride anything to bumpy, but I did Small World, Tea cups and safari I'm Animal Kingdom.  Other than that I did sitting rides, for little kids or older people. I mostly walked and shopped and ate. Lo l. You can have fun. Just be safe.

I went around 11 weeks. I rode Haunted Mansion and the new Little Mermaid ride, everything was fine. Just make sure you drink a lot of water!! If a quick service food location has fountain beverages they will give you a free cup of ice water if you ask. I haven’t paid for water at Disney in years! I’m an annual pass holder.

I went to Disney world at 22 weeks pregnant and only rode the kid rides. Nothing bumpy and no roller coasters! But there's a lot to do other than rides.

I think if its a slow kids ride it would be okay, as long as its not too fast or bumpy, you’ll be fine

It's not dangerous to go on roller coasters in your first trimester unless you've been deemed a high risk pregnancy?
I'd avoid anything that could seriously throw you around with the safety bars on your abdomen maybe. But that's about it.
