Could I be pregnant?

So my period just ended a day or two ago, and I had sex with my boyfriend last night. I'm spotting a little bit and I heard that light spotting is a sign of early pregnancy? I'm not sure if it's just from my period since it just ended though. I was wondering if any of you have experienced the same thing and what the result was?
