First month off of BC

Hey Guys- I feel a bit discouraged so far this month. I just got off of BC and we are TTC our 1st baby. My normal cycle was 28 days and typically I ovulate in the middle of the month. I have taken 20 ovulation tests over the past month and every single test is negative! Just when I think the line is getting darker the next time I take it the line is light again. The app keeps pushing my ovulation dates and my period dates whenever I put in "NO surge" but this is getting discouraging! My husband and I are taking no chances and BD everyday! Anyone else experience the same issue? I know this is my first month but I'm feeling kind of down that none of my ovulation tests are positive....
