Stay at home wife?

Question

I really want to be a stay at home mom and wife but I'm feeling conflicted. I don't want to make my husband feel like he's putting all the work for the family (financially). Plus if something ever happened to him I'd have to provide for myself and children(when we have some). So I feel like I should have a go to school or get a good job but I really really don't want to!
If I go to school I'd go for sonography (someone that sonograms pregnant bellies) 
 And that would take between a year and a half to 4 years to complete with I don't mind doing but it'll cost so much and I don't want to work anyways!!
Do any stay at home wives/moms have home jobs? And if so what are they?
Do you think I should go to school?
What are your thoughts on stay at home wife/mommy?
FYI: I do have a job I'm a nanny and babysitter js.

My husband works for Apple, and it’s something you could consider, too.  They pay very well and it includes benefits for full time.  :) In his position, he works strictly through emails and doesn’t have to speak to any customers by phone.  It’s really nice.  I know what you mean about feeling guilty.  I took an entire year off for mental health reasons and it felt weird to rely solely on him.  But he didn’t mind.  He loves providing for us.  Men like to be providers.

WOMEN HAVE VALUE AT HOME oh my gosh! Earn your wealth by becoming the woman who can do her children’s haircuts at home, for free! This is true wealth. A penny saved is a penny earned. Imagine how much money you will be spending FOR the job you have. You can potentially spend money on gas/transportation, clothes, office supplies, makeup/hair, babysitters... this is a fragmented life, and unfortunately a lot of women are pushed in this direction. Just re-think what a family life means to you, and what responsibility and wealth mean to you.

Talk to your husband about it! Right now I’m a waitress and my husband is head cook making 1400 every two weeks just by himself after taxes and we live in a small town in Indiana so things are cheap and he wants me to be a stay at home mom even though I never thought about it.

Im a full time stay at home wife, part time National Guardsman and full time student. I’m also pregnant on top of that, I’m going to be in school for a hot minute so the guard keeps the money rolling for my car payment in the meantime. 
When the baby comes I’ll be a stay at home mommy and I can’t wait for that. I’ll still be in school and in the guard but I am so excited to be able to provide a nice home and life for my hubby and baby ❤️

I am a stay at home wife, no kids (soon, just not yet) & no job, because of health issues. My husband and I both already graduated college and we are lucky that his job is good enough to allow me to stay home. Staying at home allows A LOT of flexibility, that we wouldn't have if I worked. I am always very anxious about what other people think about me being a stay at home wife without kids, but at the same time, it doesnt matter what anyone thinks as long as you and your family are happy. You should talk to your husband though to see what works for you. I think if you really want to go to school, you should! It's a great acomplishment and something that can be really useful.

We’ve been depending solely on my husband for income since April. However, we bought a house in May, so that was another pretty big bill to pay each month. First, I would go over how much he makes, and see how close y’all would be cutting it. I know for us, it was extremely stressful just because of how much harder it was to pay the bills before we used the money on us. Finding a part-time job might be the answer for you. My husband loves having me home all the time to cook and clean and hang out with, but it put a lot of stress on our relationship. Also, I got kind of bored because I couldn’t do anything for lack of money. I start my new full-time job on Monday, and our relationship is already getting stronger just at the thought of not being stressed so much.

Well try explaining how you feel and why and he should understand-he is your husband. That saves a ton on childcare too!
If you’re worried you can always work until you have kids or once they are in school after a certain amount of years and only work school hours.
Im a mother to be, stay at home wife, and a university student (almost done 👍🏻). Im only going really as a safety net backup in case I need the degree one day.
If you’re thinking about doing sonography though-know you might get placed doing sonograms of other things your first years and if jobs are scarce (sonograms/ultrasounds can be done of many different parts of the body and the most common is actually NOT pregnant women but rather the elderly with stomach, heart, bowel, etc issues. My grandmother gets em all the time grandfather too) so be warned that it may take extra training, specific schooling, or experience in the field to get where you want to be.

I'm a SAHM and my husband works while I take online college classes he has a really good paying job he makes over 20 a hour and we are greatly privileged with high-class family so we have never worried about much I'm 21 and he is 24 almost 25 and we have been together since I was 16 and him 19 we have always been each other's one and only. being a SAHM is fun but also stressful sometimes because you can't go out when you want and i won't let anyone babysit our sons unless it's family and that's a rare occurrence lol like once in a blue moon. but it has is perks I wouldn't trade it for the world. but once they are in school I'll b going to work back at the hospital I'm getting my masters in Nursing for RN I have my associates when we found out we where pregnant I decided after they where born I would  stay home and take  care of the  boys and the hospital said I'm always  I'm welcome back  I'm always welcomed back so in the meantime time I'm working on futuring my degree so my boys will see how much schooling and hard work pays off I don't want them to be spoiled either tho lol
