CIN3 - LEEP or Cryotherapy?

I just found out that I have a lot of cells in my cervix that are CIN3 (google it). My husband and I don’t have any children, but we want to. Have you ever had CIN3 cells? Did you get a LEEP or cryotherapy? If you got a LEEP and had children after, did you have any complications?

That sounds pretty serious, I would probably err on the side of caution and get a LEEP. I would talk to the doctor first and find out how likely pregnancy complications could be. I've had cryotherapy for less severe abnormal cells, I had a late loss at 6 months, but it had nothing to do with the procedure as it was issues with placenta and cord. Good luck with whichever procedure you choose! Sorry you're in this situation.

I had a leep. And then I ended up pregnant the month after.

LEEP! My gyno mentioned with cryotherapy you cannot tell if the entire area has been treated. You could be leaving behind harmful tissue. The LEEP allows them to check the borders of tissue and give you an all clear. September I had a LEEP, we were very lucky and conceived in December. The only complication we experienced was during the last .5 of dilation during labor I stalled. Good Luck!!

I had the leep about 4 years ago and my gyno assured me it wouldn't hurt my chances of getting pregnant. Im sure everyone is different and things are a case by case basis but I would choose the LEEP.

I got a leep && haventbeen pregnant since it's been 8 years!! I'm wondering if that's the reason I'm having trouble ttc.. being that I had 2 children prior with no issues!
