Adoption or wait?

We want a baby so badly. I’m only on month 4 of ttc but I’m so discouraged. It took a year with my son and my husband is insistent we have a child of our own before we adopt but I just want a baby so bad. I’m at a loss what to do. It’s all I can think about and I’m just frustrated with everything. Words of encouragement would be nice.....

honestly, it wouldn't be a very wise decision to make your husband do something he isn't ready for. I absolutely love that you want to adopt, that's beautifuol, but both of you need to be ready. something that huge can cause issues in your marriage if one of you isn't ready. I say stick with ttc because adoption I hear is a long process.

go with what your heart is telling you to do...and what it feels is the right thing to do as well. any decision you take I wish you the best.

Talk to your husband if he is on board with adoption adopt. You may start the process and then get pregnant because your not so focused on trying.

Adoption takes forever! We waited a year and a half for my daughter and we are adopting again now and have already been waiting for two years and two months. I have friends that waited three and a half years. Foster adopt you could get a baby fast but there is also a lot of waiting and unknown because most parents get opportunity for reunification with kids, it’s a whole nother ball game!
