Baby size comparisons

Is anyone else agitated by these stupid baby size comparisons to fruits & other items that are in no way consistent?!

"Size of a banana" is like saying every dick is the same size (they're about as different as bananas!). "Size of an avocado" could mean it's the size of a tennis ball or the size of a softball. It makes no sense to me! If you're going to say the baby is the size of something, at least be consistent! (Such as a tennis ball, or soccer ball).

I started getting emails from a baby registry company and, even tho some of the comparisons are strange, at least they say "it's the size of a lego man" or the like. It makes sense, for people who want to know the ACTUAL size of the baby.

Anyone else feeling me on this??
