Does contractions feel like terrible heart burn?

I keep getting a burning feeling at the top of my bump, similar to heart burn sensation but it's coming and going? I don't feel it in my chest, it's at the top of my belly and it hurts pretty bad, could it be contractions?? Some plz help!!

With my contractions it felt nothing like heartburn, and I could feel my stomach tighten, when in doubt make a call to your OB/midwife to make sure :)

Mine feel like knots in my stomach. Like something is grabbing a section inside my stomach and twisting then letting go

No. I get a pain in my ribs from baby putting lots of pressure on them. Maybe your experiencing something similar. Contractions feel like front/back period cramps and your stomach gets as hard as a rock.

No. You feel contractions in your lower abdomen. They feel like period cramps at first and gradually get stronger. They feel nothing like heart burn.
