When the hell will it finally hit me?

Question

I’m 33 weeks pregnant and CANNOT fathom the fact that I have made my own human. Like I know my baby is in there bouncing on my bladder but I can’t even process the fact that I am a mom & that my body is capable of something so special. I’m a FTM and I just have no idea what to expect, I’m not even nervous because I feel like I was just meant to be a mom but I just can’t believe I finally get to have my own baby. I always thought I’d just be stuck wishing I was able to have one & here I am. 7 weeks away from my due date, still in disbelief that God has granted me such an amazing gift. Is anyone else struggling to believe it’s finally their time?

I'm having a hard time believing it myself. I'm almost 20 weeks & I keep thinking "once I start to show" I'll feel it... or "once the baby kicks"... who knows. 
And although I'm excited I'm not as thrilled as all these other moms seem to be. 
I didn't think I would get pregnant so quickly & wasn't trying for long (1 month), so when it happened it took me by surprise, but we also planned to have a baby. So I'm over here wondering "what's wrong with me?" because I'm not getting gooey feelings when I see a baby. I was told I would cry when I saw the ultrasound-I didn't. I thought I would feel a change when I saw the heart beat. I didn't. It was cute when our baby got hiccups at the last ultrasound but it still didn't hit me "that's inside of me!" 
The thing that made me most excited was knowing that my baby's birthstone would be my fave color. Isn't that weird?

It didn't REALLY hit me until my son was in my arms. And I'm a month postpartum and I still just sit in shock sometimes of how much my life has changed, that I somehow created another person, and that I'm actually a mom. I can't believe this little human was actually in my body a month ago. Our bodies really are amazing.

I felt the same way! I guess because you have no idea who that little person really is. I just had my baby (FTM) this past May. I am so excited for you! To meet the mystery person is straight up magical. ✨

When I was pregnant I absolutely loved watching my body change but it never actually hit me that I was going to be a mom until the day I got admitted to be induced, it all was so real and the moment I held my daughter changed everything. It was like a life switch and it was absolutely amazing❤️

I'm pregnant with my second first was a boy he's almost 4 that one didn't even seem real till he was here it's like you knows it's gonna happen but it's insane when it actually does now I'm having a girl 32w on Monday still doesn't feel real and with this one I took so many tests and just couldn't believe it but it's bc we tried longer for this one than we did with our son lol
