Hijamah?

Salam sisters. Anyone got any experiences or advice regarding hijamah? I have my first appointment on Monday. Main points for me are.. infertility, super long periods, hirsutism, and weight loss.

Salam sis...i had hijamah done 3 times for fertility reasons its not that bad, you do feel abit sore after the treatment but soon goes away, its recommended that u dont drink dairy products or meat after treatment for like 24 hrs to get full benefit of the treatment...after i had it done i did see changes in my menstrual cycle as i use to have long cycles ranging from 35-45 days it did reduce my cycle length and overall i did feel good, this was last year and im still trying for my first baby, its all Allahs will at the end of the day, we have to have faith in his decisions and plans for us in sha Allah i recommend you to try it sis as it is good for health and body...i pray Allah Allah blesses us all with the gift of motherhood Ameen!

Also, if you had it for PCOS or long periods, did you have to keep getting treatments to stay regular?

It's been about a week since I had 6 points done on my back. 3 lower back, 2 by my neck and 1 on my upper back. I'm not sure if I should expect a period or anything, but my scars have faded.. And it was fine, Alhamdulillah. My mum's results were very dark purple marks, almost lumps. Mine were really light to begin with.

Salam sis, they recommend that you have 3 treatments but u can go for more...i had my PCOS scan and it came back normal Alhamdullilah i just really had it done to reduce my cycle length as my periods were always regular but long cycles from 35-40 days which my docs said was ok as long as i get my period every month plus i did all other tests which all came back normal and no signs of PCOS's...after my first treatment my cycle was 27 days and now its normally like 30-35 days...try is sis hopefully it may help you with ur long cycles, do you have PCOS?
