I’d suggest you try something else, not just because of the weird brown stuff that looks like old blood, but because there are some huge side effects they don’t tell you when inserted. I got my mirena  taken out after 2 1/2 years due to hair loss big clumps of hair just coming out of my head, bad vag odor, and mood swings. Those were my major side effects that made me say no more! Its taking me a while to recover after removal

That's how long my period was. This brown stuff has been happening since I stopped recording my period.
