Baby number #2 sprinkle read below before answering poll please

Well I missed my chance to have a baby shower with number 1. I went into early labor and was on bed rest in the hospital days before it was scheduled( to late to move to hospital). And I’m currently expecting number 2 ( 6months) I’m a little sad because I don’t think a sprinkle is in the future. And I’m really bummed because I missed that experience the first time and I helped plan the whole thing doing all the DIY and everything ... & I don’t expect anything big or anything but a little something. ( we don’t know gender ) my SIL had a sprinkle for 2 & 3.. not sure if it’s just my hormones or what but I’m really kind of bummed. I’m due end of Jan and would think a sprinkle before holidays start would be better for people who have better things to spend money on than me and baby. Am I thinking to much? Could it still happen? TIA
