There is a huge variation of what is normal hcg by week. Dont worry - Your first number doesn't mean much, as others have said it's how it rises that it's important. Your hcg should go up by double (approximately) within 48-72 hours. For now, your number is totally normal so remain optimistic! To make you stress less - my first draw at 4w4d was 49, then went up to 182miu in 72 hours then 900something 72 hours later. Around 1000-2000miu is when they can locate the pregnancy on a scan (not before that!) and they usually stop doing beta blood draws by then. I'm currently 17w1d with a little girl!
