When did you feed your baby rice cereal?

Rice cereal is just a filler with no nutritional benefit.  I will not be feeding it to my child.  He will get real food once his pedi gives the okay.

Skipping it. There’s no nutritional value to it whatsoever so it’s a waste of time and money in my opinion.

No rice cereal. It contains trace amounts of arsenic (as all rice does actually, but I mean, it’s a baby...), is an empty carb, and so many parents only feed it to try and get baby to sleep longer while putting baby at risk for pediatric obesity. The only reason to feed rice cereal is as your pediatrician suggests, for severe reflux or other medical issues where benefit outweighs risk. For fun, there are so many other nutritional choices.

My lo is 4 1/2 months, ebf, she’s only had apples bananas and carrots. Unless you need them to stay full longer, it’s just empty calories. 
Don’t replace formula or milk with rice cereal or food. Its just for fun , to try and see what they like, and to get them prepared for solids.
