Whole milk at one year...

What do you ladies use in place of whole milk? My daughter will be turning one in January and I don't feel comfortable with giving her whole milk. I don't drink it because of how bad it actually is for us. Aside from the fact that it seems odd to me I would have to feed my daughter the milk of another animal for her to develop properly. I don't wanna hear the opinions of whoever chose whole milk, I really don't care. It's not for me and does not fit my parenting style. I'd just like to be informed on the other options. Thank you!!!
