mono help

hey ladies i just got told i have mono but my symptoms aren’t terrible and my doctor believes i have a pretty mild case that should be over soon. i’m in college and we have a huge homecoming weekend this weekend. i read that you’re not supposed to drink alcohol while u have mono but i was wondering if anyone’s ever done it and been fine? also any other tips for relief would be great
