positive tests!!

Me and my partner have only been trying for a baby for a couple of weeks and felt a bit unwell so did a pregnancy test... much to my shock it came back positive (so did the 2nd, 3rd and 4th!). I phoned the GP today and they seemed to think I was weird for wanting to go in so early! they said normally you dont go to the GP until at least 6 weeks? I cant help but worry as it happened so quickly that something is going to go wrong.
