so i got an IUD inserted in early may and everything is fine now but unfortunately i was under my mom's health insurance and she got laid off a few months ago so i don't have any at the moment. several people have been telling me that IUDs need a check up every month or few months because it can move and be misplaced. i'm sexually active so it's very important for me to get it checked. i'm not sure where to go... does planned parenthood do IUD check ups? also, im kinda iffy about going there from stories that i've heard. idk im kind of freaked out and i need to get it checked ASAP so i can be relieved lol TIA 😊😊❤️
