When to start sending ring ideas?

When do you think it is appropriate to send pictures of engagement ring ideas for a couple that is 24 and 29 years old?

When marriage has already been discussed. I'm engaged, by haven't gotten the official ring, so I've talked to my spouse about rings and showed him ideas. I wouldn't have started just because we reached a certain amount of time dating.

My best friend knew what I liked and didn’t like, my husband knew my best friend would have that info .... he helped with the initial shopping of the ring to give my husband the right idea, and ultimately my husband designed the ring 💍

I did some ring browsing with my best friend, so she was able to show my husband (boyfriend then) what styles I liked and what looked good. I don't like rings with halos, or anything fancy. I preferred a simple solitaire. And hubby did great at choosing one, with a quality diamond. It is perfect for me.
