Genetic testing

Just did ultrasound and blood draw for genetic testing. NIPT. We won’t hear back for a week or so but I am just so happy to see my healthy wiggly baby again. How is it that now I won’t see you for another two months?! 😍😭

Also, I want to know your experience with genetic testing. This test primarily screens for Downs Syndrome and two other chromosomal abnormalities. We are a low risk pregnancy, I’m 27 and my husband is 28. We have no known chromosomal abnormalities in either family. But we want to be in the know. I’ve seen many post on Glo about genetic testing and said they got to find out gender, but none of my physicians have mentioned it at all. Either way I’m over the moon to have a baby that is on track growth wise and hopefully perfectly healthy.
