Gender disappointment?

Question

My husband and I have a wonderful 2.5 yo son who is truly the light of our lives. 
I am 30 weeks with baby #2 and just found out it's another boy! 
I've always dreamed of having a little girl and I feel awful for saying this but I'm slightly heartbroken to be having another boy. 
Has anyone else gone through this? Tips? Words of advice? Thank you!

Yes I have. And it's okay to feel that way. Everyone has a picture in their minds of how things are "suppose" to be and when things don't go as we hoped it's okay to feel dissapointed. I cried my whole pregnancy through with my second boy (mostly because my husband's family doesn't have alot of girls) but the moment he was born I wanted him to be a boy! He is such a mommas boy and is completely different from my older son! Today I'm pregnant with our first girl baby #3 and I would seriasly not mind if she was another boy but I'm thankful to be having a girl I just feel blessed to be a mommy again no matter the gender! It will get better and you would not want to change a thing the moment you hold him! Good luck

Yes ! I’m currently 30 weeks with my 2nd girl , I was also hurt like why couldnt I just have my pair and have my perfect little family .. but I turned that into ! “God gives us what we need” ❤️ . Hope this helps you like it did me . Healthy wishes momma

You'll love watching your two boys interact and play with each other. They're such lovers to their mommas.  I was a lil disappointed with not having a girl but I'm very happy with my boys, I know what to expect. Currently pregnant with boy #3.

I have 1 boy 2 girls and 3rd girl on the way currently 30 weeks. I was a little sad when the technician said girl . I always wanted 2 boys 2 girls, but god had other plans. 😁 I’m very happy now can’t wait to meet my little nightmare .
