Has anyone else purchased private insurance that has tips or know the best place to call? I carry mine and my children's insurance through my job, but I'm thinking of staying home after the recent birth of my five week old. My husband has insurance through his work, but to add us all to it is super expensive. One of our friends said they were able to get a high deductible plan for their family for $160 a month but don't remember who they went to. Calling around so far, the lowest quote we have got is $180 a week.
