Cold weather in the north

So I haven't lived up north in 5 years. How did I forget this shit lol? Like it's cold, all the bugs are trying to get inside. It's cold, all the tiny mammals are trying to GET INSIDE 😫😫😫. I swear I just saw a mouse out of the corner of my eye. I hope I'm seeing things lol. I grew up in Pennsylvania but am now living in South Dakota with my hubby. Has anybody dealt with rodents and/or bugs in the fall and winter?? Or wants to talk about this cold weather with me? Ya know, get me re-acclimated. ☺️
