TTC after Mirena

My husband and I are newly weds and will be TTC our first child. I just had the Mirena removed on Monday. I had the Mirena in for 5 years. I did have regular periods that 4th year in. My doctor did say that it may take awhile, but since I had started getting periods on a regular cycle it could be sooner. AF has played us a visit today😠😠. My husband and I decided that we will keep a mentally of if it happens it happens, but all I can think about is having a baby. I'm curious to know how long it took for people to conceive after the Mirena. I do ovulate on the 30th which is also my bday so maybe bday sex can do trick 🙄
