is it normal to wake up with your panties soaking wet when pregnant????.... I woke up and my panties were soaking wet with a bit of white discharge. It kinda had a sweet smell to it.. btw I'm barely a fingertip dilated & 33 weeks pregnant and having a little bit of pelvic pain.

put on a pad/panty liner and if it's soaked within an hour it's your water. But even if it doesn't soak I'd still call just in case.

Definitely go get swab tested for amniotic fluid especially since you're preterm.

If the oil is sweet is probably that. I also heard amniotic fluid smells sweet. I would call to be safe
