Should I be hurt?

I brought up how our anniversary was coming up to my SO and he flat out said he didn’t care that much about anniversaries bc it was just another day and that any day we’re together is good, but anniversaries aren’t that special after one year.

So I don’t know if I should be upset about this or not cuz he has a point but also I just always thought celebrating your anniversary was a nice things to do...
