Band aid allergy??

Tucker had is 1 year checkup & vaccines last night (im a month late, leave me alone 😫). When I took the band aids off- this was What his little arms looked like! Anyone else have this happen? I’m still waiting for a response from the doctor.

I was a month and 8 days late for my daughters vaccinations... Looks like an allergy, my doctor doesn't put bandaids on at all, just holds a cotton ball there for a min and sends us on our way

My mom, my son, and I are all allergic to the bandaid adhesive. Our skin touching the bandaid gets all red and swollen. My son’s doctor still uses them since it’s not a severe allergy and doesn’t bother him but she says to take them off after the 5-minute car ride home. That looks a little nastier than what I get but similar to my mom’s reactions. She always used hydrocortisone cream. Hopefully the doctor gets back to you soon.

My son and I are both allergic to the adhesive, I leave it on just long enough so he does not bleed anymore and then I take them off.
