Where do you put baby while going to the bathroom?!

Seriously. I know it sounds silly but I’ve tried everything I can think of. Today I dragged the jumper in the bathroom (we have a water closet) and that seemed to work out better. My 6 month old is getting to the point where she is mobile enough to be somewhat unpredictable. Any other ideas?

We mad a "jail" for moments like that haha if I had to run to another room for a sec, I stuck him in "jail" which was a play pin with a few age appropriate toys inside. Obviously I only left him for like less than a minute at a time and I could still hear him while he was in there

My son, when he wasn't running and crawling and being a general hell raiser, would happily sit in his empty bathtub until I was done. Chairs also work, but with the bathtub already being in there, it was just more convenient for us (especially since our old bathroom was tiny and couldn't even fit the chair)

If she’s sleeping, I leave her where she is. If she’s awake then I just put her in her DockATot on the bathroom floor. It takes two seconds to go to the bathroom so I’ve never understood the issue women have with going to the bathroom with a baby lol

I’ve brought my now 11 mo in with me to sit on her little potty since around 8 mths! She’s not a fan of wet diapers so it’s actually worked out beautifully for us. If I don’t she goes in her playpen so I know she’s safe 😃

We use the pack n play with toys as the baby prison, won't last much longer since he's trying to stand. Some days I put his chair in the bathroom with me 🤷🏻‍♀️ and then the dog joins

I put my son in the empty bathtub sometimes when I go to the bathroom, he's usually quite content when I do and be plays with the toys he has.
