My journey!!

Natalie • From London, England UK expecting boy/girl twins june/july ❤️😊
So as some of you may know I was expecting boy/girl twins which was a beautiful unexpected surprise. My pregnancy had been amazing if I am honest, although I was in pain with my back and not being able to sleep in my third trimester I wasn't seriously sick or had major issues, my blood and urine was always good and my blood as well as my glucose levels.
I nearly made it to 30weeks but on the 22nd of April 2015, I was studying for my final university exam and started to not feel right I could feel my twins move as always but I had a headache for the last two weeks nearly n blurry vision, I called my midwife and due to being high risk having twins was told to go for check out. I was being monitored and all my tests were normal, scan was beautiful however on the heart beat monitor I started to get short contractions which they thought could be Braxton hicks. After a hour they got worse and and i stared to feel a lot of pressure so midwife took me down to labour ward to get a check, immediately Dr could see i was 5cm and both my twins were breech. Within 20mins a whole room of Drs, nurses, midwives had surrounded the room introducing them selves telling me I was going to have annemergancy c section. I text my partner to get to the hosiptal ASAP otherwise he would miss the birth and I was so scared of being on my own. 45mins later babies were out and taken to neonatal unit and i was recovering. It has been over a week and my babies are perfect. It has now hit me I am a mum to two beautiful babies who are fighting. My daughter Morgan is doing amazing and started to drink my milk and breath on own slowly. My son Ethan is a little bit behind but doing so well and also accepting my milk. Even though we got a long journey ahead of us as they will be there till their expected due date of 5th July I love the staff and hosiptal as they are amazing and go back every day to be with them.
