Is it unreasonable? (see description)
I have a funeral to attend out of state on Saturday. This funeral is for my best friend's father. A man who paid for me to go to Prom when my parents couldn't afford it and whose house I knew better than my own. We would need to leave Friday to make it.
My mother-in-law has important medication (insulin) that needs to be picked up on Saturday. She can't work, but she can walk fine and is cognitively fine.
Is it unreasonable to ask her to take a cab to get her medication so that I can attend this funeral?
