So I started taking the birth control pill Sprintec for the first time about 16 days ago. Everything was ok for about a week, Then I started to notice some light brown discharge, I thought no big deal and then it just kept changing color to more of a pinkish red. Its not heavy it’s light but I see it almost everytime I wipe. It’s been going on for about 5-6 days now and according to Eve I’m not supposed to start my period for another 9 days so I don’t think its my period. I have been a bit stressed lately with traveling and my current love life and career so I’m not sure if that could play a part in it. I’m just wondering if this is normal to have breakthrough bleeding between your periods after starting the pill?

Breakthrough bleeding with Birth control?

So I started taking the birth control pill Sprintec for the first time about 16 days ago. Everything was ok for about a week, Then I started to notice some light brown discharge, I thought no big deal and then it just kept changing color to more of a pinkish red.
