Endometriosis

I just went to the doctor only to find out I may have endometriosis... My laparoscopy is three weeks from today and I'm super nervous and don't really know what to expect. Any words of advice or encouragement? I don't know anyone who has had a laparoscopy and I'm scared of the scars. Thanks in advance I haven't had my pre op appointment yet so I'm kinda freaking out!
