Scoliosis and having birth?

Just found out I am pregnant. Doctors appointment on Wednesday to confirm. but, my biggest concern is my scoliosis. I have an S curve that was corrected by spinal rods and screws seven years ago. My worry is the my body won't accommodate a baby. sounds silly, I know, but when your spine doesn't move it's a legit concern. I have also heard the an epidural is impossible. Anyone have any stories or ideas on this? Thanks!

I have scoliosis as well and have had to have a rod put in my back years ago. I’ve had three vaginal pregnancies with no issues, but the one thing I had a problem with was getting an epidural. It was difficult for the anesthesiologist to get it in successfully without having to pull it out and start all over. It didn’t work with my third pregnancy until after I had gave birth. I do have back pain in the general area from where it was done and feel like the epidural had something to do with it. I’m on my fourth pregnancy, I’m thinking of trying to go naturally. I don’t want to scare you though if you were planning on having an epidural, that’s just my experience with my scoliosis and having an epidural.
