Hey, so I posted this in general TTC too but I'm looking for advice. My husband works away and is constantly in and out on different jobs his company contracts. In 7 months of trying, we only had one chance to try more than once during my fertile week. That turned into a CHemical in September. The next month I got to see him cd 11,12, 13 but my cycle was longer so I think we missed the window by a few days. He was supposed to be back this week I'm on CD 10 now, but now he job is extended. He is 4.5 hours away and unlike most jobs, he is staying in a hotel with his own room. I could drive out and miss 1.5 days of work as a school teacher and try again on CD 15, 16 ( I think CD 15 was the day that got me pregnant august). I don't do OPKS because they add too much stress. I'm worried of putting too much in and being crazy, but if I had any assurance he would be around the next few cycles I wouldn't be so desperate. His boss told me Sunday he might be going to Puerto Rico soon for months... but it's always an unknown. I'm 33 years old and I worry that with this constant lack of opportunity it'll be another 7 months to year of " missing" ovulation". Or worse if I do have issues maintaining a pregnancy it will take forever to figure it out based on how often we see each other, What would y'all do ? Drive out for a slim possibility that we hit the right days? Or just forget about it.
