It's been 5 days since the insertion and I'm going to use a condom anyway, but I just want to be on the safe side that it's okay to have sex now?

I did it the same day of insertion... lol no hate! I was 8 wks PP and you're supposed to wait at least 6 wks to make sure you're completely healed. So it's safe to say we were pretty anxious 😅😅 but I have the non hormonal Paraguard I'm not sure if it's different for the hormonal IUD.

The copper version is effective immediately, so depends on which one you have.
