When did your LO sit up?

My LO will be 6 months in 1.5 weeks and is still not sitting on her own unassisted. She hardly rolls either, seems to have no interest in it. I’m starting to get concerned she’s behind where she should be.

I'm wondering what people mean when they say their babes are sitting up. Are hey getting into the position themselves? Or, do you mean they can sit by themselves if you put them down that way ???

I’m going to ask the doctor at her 6 month checkup next week. She’s very close to sitting. She can do the tripod sitting with her hands in front but her balance just isn’t there to sit up straight. She hates being on her tummy for more than a few minutes so it’s hard to get good tummy time with her.

My baby girl just turned 6 months today. She sat in tripod sit at about 5 months and now she can sit up straight, but only sometimes. She has to be super distracted to do so 😂

I had the same concerns, but she first rolled over & sat up unassisted within days of each other and right at 6 months! No worries! All babies are different!

unassisted at 5 months.  and as far as rolling goes,  he waited for that.  lol.  right before 4 months to roll tummy to back.  and right before 5 months back to tummy.  now at 6 months 1 week he rolls fine, but hates being on his tummy for long,  so he doesn't roll much.  
but its such a range for whats normal!  our oldest sat up unassisted at 4 months and rolled both ways at 8 -12 weeks.  
our twins (dd)  didn't sit unassisted until 9 months and didn't roll until 5 months.  
she did get therapy tho bc we were worried with her development being behind.  
what does baby's dr think?  is baby trying to sit up?  hitting other milestones?

My little one is not sitting up unsupported yet. he can sit with his hands on the ground but he isn't quite there. He is 6 months old. However he started army crawling at 5 months and is now moving pretty quick.

My babe started sitting up around 5 months and it has to still be assisted sometimes. She only rolls from her stomach to her back but won't roll back to stomach.
