Vaccines and autism

I know this is probably a sensitive subject but there’s a girl I’m friends with on Facebook that raves about this all the time. Her 4 year old son is autistic and swears vaccines did it to him. I just want to know how everyone feels about it. My personal opinion, I don’t believe vaccines cause autism. I have had my children vaccinated since day one and they are fine and I know plenty of people that haven’t had issues too. But I also see other women saying they believe what she believes because there’s no autism in their family and they noticed things after their child was vaccinated. She goes by a lot of stuff posted on Facebook but I read about it and I work with autistic children and to me it’s a developmental thing that happens before the child is born. Every bit of autism is different so sometimes it doesn’t show til later on and sometimes it might show early on. I know everyone will have their own opinions and that’s fine, no bashing please. Just open minded about it. I just don’t want drama on Facebook that’s why I came here and I’m curious to what everyone has to say.
