Prerequisites to become a doula.

Hey ladies!

Can any of you who are studying to become a certified doula or already are certified tell me what qualifications you needed before being able to enter a certification program?

I've been researching certification programs in my area and while it tells me what I need to graduate the program I haven't found what I need to enter the program (besides the deposit fee). Now I don't want to just assume that means you don't need any..... were there any high school or post secondary credits you needed? University English or any biology classes?
