5 weeks nauseous, and doctor said it may not be a viable pregnancy

I went to the doctor today because I have been so nauseous and sick, and she said it's too soon to be so sick and the pregnancy might not be viable. My heart sunk. I thought it was normal to be nauseous. I don't know why they say these things it just makes it worse.
