Hi all. First time mom here with a question about health insurance. I have an HMO through work. I love my OB/gyno but she is impossible to schedule with. I can't get in for my first appointment until 10 weeks. I'm concerned about getting adequate coverage with her limited availability but I'm also afraid to switch. My primary care physician is horrible but there aren't many choices in my medical group. I just researched the hospital my doctors are affiliated and it gets horrible reviews.

Anyone have experience with switching doctors using and HMO mid pregnancy?
