How late is too late to travel?

I'm 25 weeks.. May be traveling on vacation at 30 weeks.. When did you all stop traveling? 😀🌴☀️☀️

Most recommend you don't travel after 35 weeks; that being said, there's always an implied risk, you can have preterm labor and it can hit anytime. Talk to your doctor about your plans, have a plan in case something happens when you are away (I.e., know where the nearest emergency room is, etc.). Have fun but be prepared!

I personally won't  travel after my second trimester. However, it's because I had a bad experience after getting off a long flight.

I believe one or the risks is that if you have any issues, they'd have to do an emergency landing. Those are expensive and I don't know if any insurance that would cover it.

I'll be 30 weeks when I go to France at the end of next week. I've had to get a Dr's note which is fine, and it's less than 2 hours flytime. I couldn't fly to my grandpas funeral a month ago though because 12+ hours was a bad idea. They won't let me on a plane after 36.

Will you be flying? The cut off point depends on the airline. Delta has no cut off, but KLM and Air France for example allow 36 weeks with a dr's note. I'd advise getting travel insurance before you book. I had a healthy pregnancy and was planning on flying at 32 weeks, but went into premature labor at 28 weeks, so I  won't be flying now:(
