Natural or epidural??

I want to go natural, someone please give me their out put on going natural 😬

I had 2 natural unmedicated births 14 months apart. if it was so bad I wouldn't have done it again haha! I have great birth stories and I am very pro natural birthing. feel free to ask me anything!

I plan on going natural for my second. I'm going for a VBAC. My first, I labored fine and progressed fine for 19 hours. The pain was so bad though and my nurse would not leave me alone about the epidural.
Well, while you're crying in pain, it sounds pretty nice. I got it, and it didn't work. 22 hours into labor and it wasn't numbing me, but it did stop my labor. Completely. Pitocin wouldn't help bring it back up.
They had to do an emergency csection all because I got the epidural. If I could go back, I would NOT get it. Csection recovery is so much worse than anything I went through during labor. I'd take contractions any day.
So, with the proof and research that epidural CAN stop or stall your labor, I would not risk it. A few hours of no pain isn't worth a lifetime of under your belly button being numb, the random aches and stinging in your incision, or the horrid back pain from the spinal. My husband can't even massage my lower back without it crippling me. 
Weigh the pros and cons.

only handle as much pain as you can take I showed up dilated to 7 so was suggested to just push but I threw up before pushing lol just be able to breathe through the pain,and have an awesome support system in the room with you. I had my mom and sister since hubby was still deployed at the time but he saw us three weeks later so it was all good

I’m planning on it for my first in January. The way I see it, I can do anything I put my mind to.... but at the same time, I’m open to whatever happens when that day comes and I will not allow myself to be disappointed regardless of the outcome. If I make it the whole time without any help.. that’s great. If I’m in labor for hours and hours and decide on the epidural to get some relief, that’s ok too... and at the end of the day if something happens and I end up needing a c section, then that will be ok to.   I’m going to just go with the flow.

my plan was to go natural, but my son was a week late and I was induced, I want over night in labor and handled it pretty well, but I did the drugs because I was so tired I needed to rest and the drugs were the best. I was able to sleep a bit and when it was time to push I had the energy to do it.

I went naturally with my first, there wasn't time even if i wanted meds. It was an awesome experience, i honestly didn't feel much pain at all. I ended up catching her myself because the nurse left to look for a doctor when she was crowning, but i managed. It wasnt anything like what i expected. I had a pretty easy time, apparently that's not the norm though because they kept trying to find out what meds i'd apparently been given 🙄

I have had 4 natural births.......I'm allergic to the numbing medicine they use in epi. It hurts like hell...Especially the transitional phase. You have to sike yourself out and breath. Pushing feels like your vagina has been set on fire. Seriously. I'm giving birth 2 twins in 8 weeks. My anxiety is hell because I can not labor and deliver in water which I did with other 4. Water birth makes it better than it would be. It's rewarding in the end but you definitely need support to do it. My doula is a life saver. 😂😂😂
