What are baby essentials and necessities?

Mommies , please drop down every item you can think of. I'm going shopping and I don't want to forget anything.

Baby swing!! you cannot have newborn w/out it seriously ...life saver for moms

long sleeve onsies with attached mittens
breast pump & good fitting nursing bras & disposable nursing pads (if breast feeding)
swaddles or receiving blankets
diaper pail 
Tons of diapers (we bought 4 boxes of Costco brand 192 count--we are going through about a box per month)

First aid kit with Nail clippers
Thermometer( rectal and forehead is nice to have)
Zip up sleepers- cotton
Crib sheets and waterproof mattress pad
Burp cloths
Rock n play or bouncer to set baby in around the house!
White noise machine

Other than the normal diapers and wipes:
The SwaddleMe swaddles (we were terrible at swaddling and these saved us) and sleep sacks
Disposable changing pad covers (these have saved me from changing and washing my changing pad fabric covers all the time)
White noise machine (we have Wyatt the Whale; awesome! It has a night light and does stories, music, and white noise)
Hands free pumping bra if you are pumping/BF, milkies milk saver and milk trays are awesome too
Babybum diaper cream applicator
Mesh laundry bags (for baby socks and mittens) 
Burp cloths. So many burp cloths 
Batteries for all the baby stuff

It’s is really going to depend on your baby. Because your maybe may use some of the items and may hate some. That being said for us the big essentials were:
Swaddles
Lots of bibs and burp cloths
Gas drops
Nose frida
Rocking sleeper
