Adoption help?

Question

So I'm pregnant due to unprotected sex (i know it was stupid and i dont need the judgement on that). Anyways, it's also very clear to me that I won't be able to take care of a baby, because I'm only 16 and unemployed and irresponsible and everything. I also know that I personally wouldn't be able to go through with an abortion. I need some help with how to go through the adoption process so I can bring this child into the world knowing they'll be cared for properly. I have no idea where to start.

I’d recommend calling an agency to start. They can walk you through everything and get you support, whether that’s prenatal care, signing up for insurance, getting to and from doctor’s appts, etc. We’re working with Lifetime Adoptions. They are wonderful and treat their expectant mommas so well. They let you pick your family, they can help with maternity clothes, and they offer scholarships. If you are considering adoption, that makes you a very responsible young lady. thank you for your bravery to even consider it ♡ also, you can start by Google searching adoption agencies as the birth mother, and when you call, let them know that you aren't set with your decision as far as adoption or which agency you want to go with. they will each have different ways in which they can help and will then you can decide which option is best for you. otherwise, if there is a local women's health clinic near you, or your local health department can point you in the right direction as far as your options in town/state.

Thank you for considering adoption that is such a wonderful option. I’m not sure where you are located but you could look into private adoption.  My husband and I have been looking to adopt this way for a while since it’s much cheaper than going through an agency and we are still going through infertility treatments which are expensive on their own. If you’d like you can PM me or txt me (205) 504-2541 and I can put you in contact with a local family/adoption attorney we’ve spoken with about what adoptive parents need to do for that process and they could tell you what the biological parents process would look like and what the laws are in each state. They’ve been so helpful and I’m sure they’d be happy to explained the process and your options for adoption. My husband and I have always wanted to adopt for our 4th child. I wouldn't know how to go about it. But since your 16, you could fill out for medicaid so you won't have any medical bills. I did this for my first pregnancy at 16, I gave birth at 17.

if you know of someone who is wanting to adopt you can do it privately (check your state laws) we would love to adopt but want to do a private adoption it is cheaper for the adopting parents.
