Any mommas have twins but didn't know about it til later on? I'm 12 weeks in this picture. I've had one early ultrasound but it was tranvaginal not abdominal. I have had extreme symptoms and just have that feeling and my daughter keeps talking about it.

Only one baby seen on first ultrasound. But I just have a strange feeling that I'm having twins and my 5 1/2 year old daughter keeps talking about me having a boy and a girl. I was just wondering if anyone else had an early ultrasound that didn't show twins but had that feeling and found out that you were having twins later on?

I didn't know my first pregnancy was twins until I delivered my son and about 5 minutes later my daughter came out. She had stopped growing at 4 months and my son just hid her has he grew. It is uncommon but not impossible. There's a story on the news now of a women who was having 4 babies and during the c-section they found a 5th.

My friend didn't find out she was having twins until her 20 week gender scan. Do twins run in your family? My friend was on some meds to help her conceive because of health issues a few years prior, and that is why she had multiples. She has a boy and a girl.

I had a transvaginal ultrasound at the ER due to pain at 5 weeks and they saw only one but when I went back at 7 weeks there were clearly two babies in there! So shocked because we thought we had confirmed that there was only one. Between ultrasounds everyone kept telling me it was twins and I kept telling them nope there's only one I am just really crampy, sick and bloated but had to later tell everyone they were right! Lol

i am a twin. my mom didnt find out til 7 months when they had to take her appendix out. i was 3 lbs and my sister was 5 so she hid me and her heartbeat was louder...but remember they didnt have all the tech that i do now back in 87'.
