is my scar infected?

Question

I had my 2nd csection 3 weeks ago, its kinda smelly and sore. Does it look infected? should i book a doctors appointment? 
****update - my scar has an infection and has opened at one end. I'm on antibiotics and have to have an iodine dressing. lets hope its better soon!

Mine did something similar, turned out I had a reaction just on the surface of my skin to the steri strips they put on to help the glue stay together, they cleaned me up & applied petroleum jelly (also known as Vaseline) & a pad like bandage to soak up ooze, I did the same 3 or 4 times a day for a week & it cleared up, scar looks great now, I think I was 13 days postpartum when I had them look @ it, definitely get it checked to rule out a deeper infection
