What should I do?

Hi guys I had my baby boy about 1 week ago. I’m going through courts here in AZ to have dad served with child support papers. He will be served, he asked me not to because the only address I have is his parents house. They don’t know about the baby. Should I just not have him served? He has two other babies, this is third one. We we not together (fwb). I asked him if it was okay to talk to his parents before I had the baby and he said no, they don’t want anyone talking to them because they told him to handle it. ( idk if he’s lying, I’m assuming he was since he said they don’t know about him). Any advice. I don’t want any drama. EVERYTIME I message and ask him if he can sign he ignores me.

If he didn’t want to be financially responsible for a child, he shouldn’t have agreed to the only natural act that creates one! He made his choice when he got you pregnant. Dodging your calls and ignoring you should give you more reassurance in your decision to serve him. It sounds like it’s the next necessary step. Plus, unless his parents open his mail, it’s not like he has to give them all the details. As long as he does the responsible thing and pays, no further measures will be taken. You don’t need to feel any guilt at all. You are doing the right thing for your child

Nope, send them papers. He probably knows his parents would make him pay. Think of your baby, if he’s refusing to pay without courts you need to go through the courts. It’s you and your baby now you don’t have time for his games, don’t give in to him or it’ll be a life time of him picking and choosing and mugging you off

If he's ignoring you, then it's his own stupid fault when you serve him at his parent's house. Sounds to me like he's good at getting people pregnant and dodging responsibility. I hope his parents are right there to see him get served.
