My boyfriend has A.D.H.D., Fibromyalgia, and depression..Its hard really. He can be fine one second and then just changes super fast to where he doesn't want to do anything. Honestly love him, but I just don't know what to do. I want him to stay happy, but I don't know how to make that happen, especially when he's in pain all the time and gets distracted every minute.                 If anyone has dealt with this, with their boyfriend, please give advice on how you've kept your relationship.

My ex husband has bipolar type 1 with psychosis... needless to say after10 years he is now my ex husband for a reason.  I wish he would have medicated but bipolar rarely stay with it.  Broke my heart.

I have severe anxiety and have been battling depression for a long, long time but was only recently diagnosed. I think it does effect our relationship sometimes because he just doesn't understand how much it effects me. I have days where I'm very down and he just thinks I'm moody or being a bitch. I just explain to him that I just feel sad/down/stressed/tired and I don't have a reason to. He tries to get it, bless his heart but I really don't think he fully understands. And it's a hard thing to explain to someone when they don't deal with it themselves. He's definitely getting better tho.

We recently discovered that my hubby has pretty bad anxiety when it comes to certain things. It caused him to quit his last job after just a month. But it seems to only apply to work so it hasn't affected our relationship too much. We're still going to seek out professional help for him though.

Oh boy, we both have anxiety and depression. He's great as long as he's on his medication but if he misses even a few days look out. I've always had anxiety but depression came when I had our first baby. Took a long time but I found medication that works for me.

Nope. I’m the one with the problems. Lol. But I’ll give you some advice if your SO struggles with mental health. The greatest advice I could give is to not neglect your own mental health. Being in a relationship with someone who struggles with mental health is hard. I put my husband through absolute hell. Recognize that and take care of yourself.
