His cord was stuck to his onesie and came off then I was trying to change him but it look early to me but he’s is my first so I don’t know. Also how should I clean this? I was told soap and water but that was before he looked like he’s bellybutton hadn’t finish forming.

Update: So it’s been a few hours and it looks like this. It looks like what was left of the cord is just going to scab over then fall off too.

My son ripped his off with his own hands 🙄 & my pedi said to dab it with hydrogen peroxide. I do think calling your pedi might be good.

Keep it dry and don't clean with any kind of alcohol or peroxide. It doesn't look infected or swollen at all so that's good. I'd just wipe the blood off with some water and then dry it. 
I'd make an appointment with your ped though.

When is your next appt? If not soon, I’d call tomorrow and get your peds recommendation. 
Even after my sons fell off by itself, our doctor asked us to wait 3-4 days to make sure it completely healed.

Just looks sore and reopened. Keep it clean and dry, no chemicals as it can burn their skin etc. keep an eye on it. You’ll find especially if you’re breastfeeding it’ll probably heal just fine. Monitor for signs of infection but that’s about all. As always, if in doubt, check with your doctor
